I fight this lie in my mind telling me, "Who are YOU to tell anyone about the Faithfulness of God? You really think anyone would listen to you? Your "testimony" isn't glorifying God like you think. Just forget this and move on." 

Imposter Syndrome? Some may give it that title. But, I won't give it that much credit.

It is simply the Enemy's voice trying to silence my obedience.

Silence keeps us bound in shame. There is a way to honor the layers of private personal life, while being honest about what we have experienced this side of Heaven. 

 

God has directly asked me to share our story. Hand-in-hand in this journey, it is my husband's constant support and encouragement to write that has caused my "go-follower" personality to become more of a "go-getter."

My writing has found it's voice directly from our journey of healing, where we watched God's faithfulness move from a theological concept into the reality we live and breathe. I write to meet you right where you are, offering empathy and the truth that God never abandons us in the wreckage—He climbs into the ruins to rebuild us.

 

Behind the Pages: A Few Fun Facts

When I’m not writing or wrangling my four beautiful kids, here is a little peek into my world:

• Creating for Joy: I love to create in any way I can. I might not be a master artist, but working with my hands is one of my favorite, quiet ways to spend sweet time with the Lord.

• Chasing Waterfalls: Hiking is my ultimate escape, especially if the trail rewards me with a stunning waterfall at the end.

• The Gluten-Free Struggle: I have been on a strict gluten-free diet for six years now. It's done wonders for my health, but I still deeply, truly miss a warm loaf of homemade French bread!

• Our Private Sanctuary: While my family is my absolute world, you won’t see their faces or names on this website or my social media. To protect their privacy and keep our home a safe place, I keep them tucked behind the scenes!
